PowerPoint Viewer 2003 is a free and light Microsoft original application for viewing all the presentations created in Microsoft PowerPoint 97 and higher.
This viewer supports saved .ppt, .ppt., .pot presentations, and opening password protected Microsoft PowerPoint presentations.
The application allows viewing and printing the MS PowerPoint presentations, but the user can't edit them.
The Free PowerPoint Viewer doesn't support Information Rights Management (IRM) presentations, running macros, programs, or opening linked or embedded objects.
Microsoft Free PowerPoint Viewers is safer and more secure than the Office application because it cannot run scripts or save files. The Viewer is much smaller and simpler program so it's able to start up and show a document much faster than a full Microsoft Office Power Point application can.
Tis application is very useful for sharing personal and commercial presentations saved in CD (which might include the Microsoft Free PowerPoint Viewer installation program to install it in the final user PC), without the need of having the complete MS Office PowerPoint program installed in the PC where the presentation has to be displayed. |
